FGV Analytics Academic Events Week
From November 3 to 7, 2025, FGV Analytics will host its Academic Events Week, bringing together Brazilian and international experts for a program focused on strengthening scientific cooperation, monitoring illicit networks, and developing evidence-based public solutions.
The initiative marks the official visit of the center’s International Advisory Council, composed of leading global researchers and specialists in public policy, urban security, data science, crime economics, innovation, and social development.
With a diverse agenda, the week aims not only to foster exchange between centers of excellence but also to consolidate institutional partnerships with government agencies and research funding organizations. A key highlight is the International Seminar “Crime, Territory and Illicit Markets”, which will address the challenges faced by vulnerable urban areas in the face of evolving organized crime dynamics.
In addition to academic discussions, the event will include technical visits to strategic public institutions, promoting dialogue between applied science and public policy.
